T2-Tech was appointed by City of Tshwane to undertake Social Institution Development Consultant to mobilise and organising the community of Pretoria Central Business District during construction on Nana Sita street and intersection of Nana Sita Street and Nelson Mandela Drive. In addition T2-Tech was also required to provide its services for the underway construction of Kotze to Hatfield.
T2-Tech was further more appointed by City of Tshwane to undertake Health and Safety Audit file review
or the construction of the Tshwane Rapid Transit roadway on line 2A: CBD to Hatfield, at
section 2 A-2: Kotze Street, Jorissen Street and Lynwood Street. The Health and Safety file was
reviewed according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993) and
Construction Regulations.
Project Description (Summary)
T2-Tech was mandated by the City of Tshwane to render services for social facilitation. The Main purpose of the consulting is to mobilise and organise the affected community of Pretoria Central Business District community and surrounding suburbs, land owners and surrounding business within the affected place in the city about the new development of the construction for Tshwane Rapid Transit bus lanes taking place within their jurisdiction areas and to create awareness campaign of the advantages and disadvantages that will affect them, most importantly the benefits that is there for them in terms of job creations. Stakeholder identification and compilation of an interested and affected party’s database. Briefing with ward councillors or ward committees. Arrange, facilitate, minute and or report on public meetings and ward public meetings. Conduct skills and SMME audits and compile databases for same. Submit a concise monthly report which includes labour usage figures. Project steering committee establishment and training. Assist with the procurement, training, management of CLO. Assist with the employment of local labour and SMME’s. Assist contractors by facilitating problems with local stakeholders and labour related issues.
